Frequently asked questions
Short answers about cost, accounts, data, and how the synergy engine works.
Is Deckaugur free to use?
Yes. Deckaugur is free while it is in active development. There is no trial and no payment step. You need an account to save decks; a live demo deck is available without one.
Do I need an account?
You need an account to save decks and use your collection. You can look at a live demo deck without signing in.
Where does the card data come from?
Card data and images come from Scryfall. Deckaugur is not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast.
How does the synergy engine decide what is a synergy?
It reads the oracle text of each card, tags what a card cares about and what it enables, and connects cards whose tags match. Suggestions show the text that caused them, so you can judge them yourself. The scoring guide explains the full method.
Can I use it for a deck I did not build in Deckaugur?
Yes. You can paste a decklist to import it, then see the synergy map and warnings for it.
Does Deckaugur store my personal data?
It stores what it needs to run your account and decks, hosted in the EU. Analytics are cookie-free. The Privacy Policy lists what is collected and your rights.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Send a request through the feedback form inside the application (sign in and open the user menu), and your account data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
